Rem’s Infamous Draft Grades

I’d love to put even more time and effort into the annual draft grades than I already am, but alas, I am just one busy, lazy man. So what I’ve done is just averaged the ‘prospect score’ from my big board, which takes into account every player’s tools, chops and screws them into a new…

Your Mom’s 2026 2-Round Mock Draft

It is mock draft season, and since I don’t have a pick in any of the first 7 rounds, I thought I’d go ahead and do a mock draft that is 100% legit- for the first time ever. There’s no propaganda here, because honestly I have no chance of any of these players and there’s…

Inaugural Draft in Review Part 2

Continuing with a deep dive into 5 more original draftees that went no where. This time with a little more structure. Any typos or poor formatting, forgive me. I am not bothering to edit myself this time around. Enjoy! Carl “C.J.” Henry – Round 30, pick 3 in CPL 2007. Drafted in 2005, 17th overall…

Inaugural Draft In Review

With Clayton Kershaw announcing his retirement, I finally found the motivation to answer the question: “Who’s left from the 2007 draft?” Without too much more drama, here’s the list after my overly-extensive investigation:* Justin Verlander (Drafted 8th round, 91st overall)* Rich Hill (Drafted 26th round, 312th overall)* Andrew McCutchen (Drafted 31st round, 36th overall) That’s…
