Tom Cat’s “why not” grades

I’m going to throw draft grades out, because why not. But, not really. I’m just going to pick my favorite pick from each round with a handful of honorable mentions. Round # – Player (Team): Meaningless Banter 1 – Colt Emerson (Your Mom): I do not like typing this. But, I’m a big Colt Emerson…

Rem’s Infamous Draft Grades

What’s a draft hangover without me mocking your picks? I used my aforementioned system/board to smash together everyone’s composite scores for each player they drafted. For players not on my board, I gave them a flat score of 45, which would’ve been 227th on my board. My board included all BA Handbook prospects above a…

Rem’s First Round Draft Board

Why am I sharing this? Because I don’t draft until 32 and I thought it’d be an interesting look for some into an “analytical approach”(using that very loosely here) to scouting. My system is certainly more simplistic than Tom or Jeff, but still gives weighted points positive or negative for tool grades and a few…

Fajita Eaters World Champions

In what was an exciting back and forth week with a confusing, tie-breaker ending, the 2023 World Series closed out tonight with the Fajita Eaters besting Pro Bowlers to win their first ever CPL World Series. “So, like, I won…?” a battle-weary Rem was heard asking as the Sunday games closed out.  And yes, he…

Series Set

After another incredible postseason, we have two pennant winners ready to battle for the Big Red Bat. In the American League, Fajita Eaters took out Tom Cat’s to win their first ever American League Pennant. Fajita Eaters led the AL in wins this year (207) but couldn’t grab that #1 seed. But it didn’t matter,…
